Brooklyn, NY – Beginning tonight, Monday, June 20th, the NYC Department of Transportation will be milling and repaving the area of Ocean Avenue, between Avenue P and Avenue S, in Flatbush.

In order to minimize traffic congestion and reduce the impact on people’s day to day lives, this work is scheduled to begin at approximately 7 p.m., ending at 6 a.m.

Local residents are urged to plan accordingly. Signs are posted 24 hours prior to work on those blocks to notify residents about parking restrictions during the overnight hours.

Councilman Chaim Deutsch welcomes residents to contact him with questions or concerns via email at [email protected] or 718-368-9176.

  1. Good move. The northbound lanes of Ocean Avenue between Quentin Road and Kings Highway are in awful condition and desperately need resurfacing.
