Former New York City police commissioner Bernard Kerik had a lot to say – and rightfully so – about the protesters in Ferguson when he appeared on CNN.
Kerik defended the actions of the police in Ferguson, saying, “You cannot allow people to act like savages, you cannot allow people to act like animals.”
Finally someone speaking the truth.
“If I was the police commanders today, I would be going through videos from last night and I’d go around and start sucking up all those people that were out there doing this destructive damage,” Kerik continued. “This is insane. They wanted justice, justice has been served.”
Kerik also praised St. Louis County prosecutor Bob McCulloch for his handling of the case. “I think the prosecutor did an excellent job on his explanation of the return of no bill of indictment,” he said. “I think he did an excellent job on getting the information out to the public.”
But he did think the timing was problematic, saying he would have preferred the announcement to come at 9 a.m. morning rather than 9 pm. “There aren’t any protesters out there today, the streets are calm,” he noted. “And they seem to light up like the goblins at nighttime.”

Bernie is right. Too bad he disgraced himself as Police Commissioner.
Why anyone should listen to this corrupt convicted felon ex-cop who spent three years in a federal prison is beyond me.
I think they waited until night so most normal people especially kids would be at home and be safer.
