Former New York City Mayor Ed Koch has been hospitalized for treatment of anemia.
A spokesman for the ex-mayor of the Big Apple, says Koch was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital this morning and underwent a blood transfusion.
Koch is 87. He had been feeling weak.
The Jewish former three-term mayor hopes to be out and about by tomorrow.
We do not know the name of his mother for the purposes of saying Tehillim.
