Michael Cohen, the former personal lawyer for President Donald Trump, was sentenced to  to three years in prison Wednesday for crimes that helped cover up Trump’s “dirty deeds” and put the president in legal peril.

Cohen is due to surrender to prison on March 6. In addition to his time in prison, at a location to be determined, Cohen must pay a $50,000 fine for lying to Congress about a proposed real estate deal in Russia by the Trump Organization.

“I take full responsibility for each act that I pled guilty to — the personal ones to me and those involving the president of the United States of America,” Cohen said in federal court in Manhattan before he was sentenced.

“Blind loyalty” to Trump “led me to take a path of darkness instead of light,” Cohen told the judge.

  1. Sorry, Cohen, you’re not from the elite, like Hillary, Mueller, Comey, Awan, Obama, Schultz, Brennan, Holder, who can get away with murder (literally), theft (literally), money laundering (literally) because they are above the law. You’re from the little people who have to site in jail for the minutest offense.
