France, Germany Say No Evidence Lebanon’s Hariri Being Held In Saudi

Both France and Germany said Friday that there is no evidence to support Lebanese claims that the country’s former Prime Minister Saad Hariri is being held against his will in Saudi Arabia, where he has remained since he sent shockwaves through the Middle East with his surprise resignation on Saturday.

A German foreign ministry spokeswomen told a news conference on Friday that “we have no evidence that Hariri is being detained in Riyadh and we assume that he chooses where he goes. Read more at i24NEWS.
