Fugutive’s DNA Found in Guards’ Cabin

david sweat and richard mattDNA of one of the escaped killers from Clinton Correctional Facility has been found at a broken-in cabin on a site owned by corrections officers, the Press-Republican reports.

Police said that they have run “conclusive” DNA tests on objects found in the area 20 miles from the prison that Richard Matt and David Sweat escaped from.

Soures told the Press-Republican that “boots, bloody socks and toiletries were found, along with a water jug and peanut butter” at the location. A second prison worker has been placed on administrative leave. Read more at the Press-Republican.
