Last night, a gathering was held to mark the shloshim since the passing of Rav Zelik Epstein zt”l, rosh hayeshiva of Yeshiva Shaar Hatorah-Grodno in Queens and one of the ziknei hador. One month ago, Klal Yisroel lost one of its brightest minds and one of the manhigei hador. Rav Zelik was 97.
At the gathering, divrei hesped were delivered by Rav Shmuel Kamenetsky, rosh yeshiva of the Philadelphia Yeshiva; Rav Aryeh Malkiel Kotler, rosh yeshiva of Beth Medrash Govoha; Rav Matisyahu Roberts, and others.
