Gaza Rocket Hits Israel for Second Straight Day

For a second straight day, a rocket was fired from Gaza into Israel Thursday. Boruch Hashem, there were no injuries, as the missile landed in an open field in the southern Eshkol region.

None of the Palestinian terror groups claimed responsibility right after the attack.

The attack comes a day after a rocket launched from the Gaza Strip struck a road in the southern city of Sderot, damaging some houses and vehicles, in an attack for which credit was claimed by the Islamic State-affiliated Ahfad al-Sahaba-Aknaf Bayt al-Maqdis terrorist group. The IDF is looking into why the Iron Dome anti-missile system did not intercept the rocket.

Israel continues to bomb Hamas positions in the Gaza Strip in response to the rocket attacks, which Israel said it holds Hamas responsible for.
