Former President George H.W. Bush was discharged from a Maine hospital on Sunday, where he was treated after falling and breaking a bone in his neck.
His spokesman Jim McGrath tweeted “a very grateful” Bush was released from Maine Medical Center after four days of treatment for a fractured vertebra.
The 91-year-old reportedly fell at his Kennebunkport home on Wednesday, but didn’t suffer any nerve damage. He is expected to recover fully in three or four months.
Bush has a form of Parkinson’s disease and uses a wheelchair or motorized scooter for mobility. Read more at NBC News.
