Newt Gingrich will deliver a major national security address at the conservative American Enterprise Institute on Thursday in which he will reprimand the Obama administration’s “willful blindness” to the threat of extremist Islam.The speech – a direct challenge to the president’s foreign policy judgement at a venue that’s become an important stopover for Republican luminaries – is the latest sign that Gingrich is serious about a potential White House bid in 2012.
Gingrich “will warn,” according to a synopsis of the event, “that now is the time to awaken from self-deception about the nature of our enemies and rebuild a bipartisan commitment, in Afghanistan and elsewhere, to defend America.”
Never one to shy away from his somewhat professorial reputation, Gingrich plans to draw on “the lessons of Camus and Orwell” to explain “the dangers of a wartime government that uses language and misleading labels to obscure reality.”

well once again matzav publishes anything that attacks the president despite the lack of any statement of fact in the entire article. What a shame that matzav can’t step back and ask, is this worthy of print? Do we want to be an online hysteria- monger? Do we want to print any article against the liberal commi president no matter how void of any substance there is? Do we want to mislead our readership into believing that when we – Matsav- report the words of a famous politician like Gingrich we are doing so because he has something substantive to say about Danger to American lives or Danger to the American economy ? Do we at Matsav really want to feed the Klal Yisroel with Gingrich’s fantasies about how the Obama Administration is actually causing danger to American lives and danger to the American economy ……….by Obama’s adminstration not yelling during a speech, or by Obama’s adminstration not appearing emotionally angry during a speech, or by not constantly repeating and obsessing in speeches that Radical Islam is the platform from which terrorist bases grow?
Why would matsav want to be involved in Orwellian newspeak and say ” Our online posts are not interested in the lies that communicate that its dangerous for America if America doesn’t DWELL and OBSESS on radical islam as though Americans dont know how radical islam is the platform for terrorism.”
