Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was released from the hospital Tuesday after undergoing a procedure to remove two nodules in her lungs that were determined to be malignant.
Ginsburg underwent a pulmonary lobectomy at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York on Friday to have the nodules removed from her left lung.
Ginsburg, the Supreme Court’s oldest justice, previously underwent treatment for colorectal cancer in 1999 and she was treated for pancreatic cancer in 2009.
