Ruth Bader Ginsburg isn’t going anywhere for a while – even if that means a Republican president will appoint her successor.
In an interview with The New York Times published on Sunday, Ginsburg, 80, vowed to stay on the court, and she admitted she regretted her decision in 2009 that led to this year’s case that stripped parts of the Voting Rights Act. She called this court “one of the most activist in history,” and called the last two terms “heady, exhausting, challenging.”
Ginsburg has had a few bouts with cancer, although she said is now in good health. Also for trivia nuts: she has a framed copy of the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009 on her wall. Read more at The New York Times.
