giuliani2Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani suggested on Sunday the reason he hasn’t endorsed Republican presidential front-runner Mitt Romney yet is because he’s flip-flopped so much on issues.

“That’s the big issue with Governor Romney. I think that’s the reason why he’s having a hard time getting to that 50, 51, 52 percent,”said Giuliani, who ran unsuccessfully for the GOP presidential nomination in 2008.” “He has changed his position on virtually everything. He was a traditional moderate Republican, strong on fiscal matters, strong on foreign policy, but basically socially moderate. And he changed all that.

“I am a moderate Republican. That’s what I am, so I’d be inclined to support someone like Mitt Romney, but all those changes in positions give me pause,” Giuliani said on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”

Giuliani, who has not endorsed any of the GOP contenders, was in Indianapolis Sunday to root on the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLVI.
