Yediot Acharonot interviewed Israeli-born billionaire Adam Neumann, 38, who founded the American WeWork company worth $20 billion, who is worth $2.6 billion. He said he has tremendous satisfaction from keeping Shabbos for the past two years.
“At first it indeed felt like a tough assignment, but it gives me time with my children, my wife, my friends,” he said.
“Last week I had a crazy week,” he added. “I flew and worked a lot. On Friday morning we got up and said to each other, ‘We are ready for Shabbos.’ Shabbos arrived, we lit candles, we relaxed, all the friends came over, we ate a meal we’d cooked beforehand.
“We are cut off from the world but actually connect with each other. I spend more time than ever with my family and even phone and see my mother more. The real magic is that the more I do it, the more successful the company is. Go figure.”

Please let him know that he and his family are invited to Mrs. Himmelstein’s house for Shabbos on the LES.
Go get a donation?! Surely you could’ve come up with a better headline
Very catchy headlines. Why don’t you put your money where your mouth is and give us his cellphone number and email address. Does he see collectors on Motzai Shabbos?
it is a disgusting insensitive headline that makes us look like leeches
GO GET A DONATION
Really what kind of a headline is this. Something just doesn’t sound right. Giving tzedakah is fine, this doesn’t sound like derech eretz though.
So he keeps Shabbos – a good start. What about all the other mitzvos every Jew must keep?
Give the man a chance.I guess you’re the kind of person that always sees a glass half empty instead of half full. You ever heard of having an Ayin Toiva? To see the good in people and not the reverse.
And do ” YOU” keep them all?
Because I’m very religious, and I can guarantee you, that neither YOU…NOR I can say we do. We are oiver every day on plenty…so you work on yourself and let him take steps forward…We are all on an upward path hopefully….none of us are done!
What about them?
People deserve credit for the mitzvas they do keep. You arent worthless because o udont adhere ot the lav of vesisne es achicha. Its great tht you keep some mitzvos! keep it up. One day you as well as this wonderful yid will keep them all!
Keep striving!
good for him! Keeping Shabbos is HUGE!
Matzav has had some pretty bad headlines but this one is a new low
Does he still live in the Holy Land or in the US ?
He moved to Boro Park. He lives on 48th Street between 14th and 15th Avenue.
Let him advertise that Shabbos is a gift from God. It helps rejuvenate a person. Baruch Hashem for Shabbos.
Must be my kugal
Headline is a chillul hashem at best. Please change it. Thank you!
What on earth is with that headline? What is he, a piggybank?
