rick-santorumRepublican contender Rick Santorum says that if he’s elected president, he would bomb Iran’s nuclear facilities unless they were opened up for international arms inspectors.

The former Pennsylvania senator says President Barack Obama hasn’t done enough to prevent the Iranian government from building a nuclear weapon and has risked turning the U.S. into a “paper tiger.”

Santorum tells NBC television’s “Meet the Press” that he would tell Iranian leaders that either they open up those facilities, begin to dismantle them and make them available to inspectors – or the U.S. would attack them.

The Obama administration, like President George W. Bush’s administration, has focused primarily on international diplomacy and economic penalties to try to pressure Iran into abandoning its nuclear program. Iran contends its efforts are for peaceful purposes.

  1. Rick Santorum, now there’s a real sleaze
He’s the one who said Iraq had WMD’s
    He promises a theocracy
    To those who worship hypocrisy
It’s the extreme fringe he wants to appease.

Exactly! What has resulted, is total failure! Romney/Gingrich would continue the same failed policies! The Country needs someone like Rick Santorum to get this “once” great country back on it’s feet! I will be voting for him.

  3. Santorum is experienced; Bachmann is not and neither is Perry and neither is Paul. (Gingrich is experienced but he will not get in. Make him Secretary of State.)

My thoughts exactly. Gingrich would make an excellent Secretary of State in a Santorum administration.
