Gogo Enables In-Flight Calling

flight-plane Get ready to annoy your fellow airline passengers, Android and iPhone users. In-flight Wi-Fi provider Gogo has expanded services to include a free application that will allow calls and text messages to be sent from the air. Calls will be routed through Gogo’s Wi-Fi service and then re-routed to cell phone service carriers.

“Gogo Text & Talk is just one more way Gogo is keeping airline passengers connected to their lives on the ground,” said Ash ElDifrawi, Gogo’s chief marketing officer. “While we see this as more of a text messaging product for commercial airlines in the United States, the phone functionality is something that some international air carriers and our business aviation customers are asking for.” Read more at The Register.

  1. is there ever a moment that we can depart from our cell phone & computers etc…

    be it for a flight or to daven to Hashem etc…

    too bad for us, that today technology is glued to us & removes us from the true world, WITHOUT US EVEN REALIZING IT i.e. we all think it doesn’t effect us. but the damage is horrific & can’t be repaired R”L
