A State University at Albany graduate student hijacked NY ov. Cuomo’s Twitter feed over the weekend and pretended to be the newly inaugurated leader.
Nicholas Fahrenkopf, 24, said that he signed up for the Twitter account @NYGovernor on Saturday, before Cuomo had a chance to. He told The New York Times he posted photos of Cuomo and tweeted he would appoint outgoing Gov. David Paterson to write jokes for his speeches.
Cuomo’s official Twitter account now is @NYGovCuomo.
