Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) says he doesn’t know if President Obama’s birth certificate was genuine. In an interview with Parade Magazine, Perry said he has no reason to think otherwise that the president was born in the United States. But pushed further for a more definitive answer, Perry said he couldn’t be sure that Obama’s long-form birth certificate, which was released earlier this year, was real.
When told that he had seen the birth certificate, Perry questioned that, according to a transcript of the interview put out by the magazine.
“I don’t know. Have I?” said Perry.
Asked if he believed in the document that’s been released, the governor said he didn’t know.
“I don’t know. I had dinner with Donald Trump the other night,” Perry said. “He doesn’t think it’s real.”
“I don’t have any idea. It doesn’t matter. He’s the president of the United States. He’s elected. It’s a distractive issue,” Perry added.

That’s ok, I dont know if Mr. Perry’s soul is rightful.
what a poor exuse of a BC Anyone who is stupid enough to belive its real deserves to have this imposter as his president!
tipshis.
Technically, Perry is right.
He did not see the original (which the Hawaiian authorities inexplicably locked away).
There were still many doubts obout his “birth certificate” for eg. by rece it sais African American, in those days they wrote black. And why the Rosata stone twins who were born first got a later number????
First, WHO CARES, don’t we have more important thing to discuss.
Second, by US law the child of an American is and American, now matter where they are born.
I have a much bigger concern with all the the Chinese that come here to the US just to birth their children, giving them citizenship.
