According to a report in Yated Ne’eman, A while later, the chosson began to bleed profusely and the bandage became saturated with blood. His grandfather, Rav Meir Tzvi, ruled that he should be taken immediately to the Maayanei Hayeshua Hospital. Rav Meir Tzvi asked that the dancing continue. The chosson spent a couple of hours in the hospital and returned to the wedding well after midnight. When he returned, the crowd erupted in spirited singing and dancing which lasted until after 2 a.m.
