Groundhog Punxsutawney Phil Predicts (Another) 6 More Weeks of Winter

During the annual Groundhog Day ceremony in Pennsylvania on Friday morning, Punxsutawney Phil “saw” his shadow and predicted six more weeks of winter. Phil makes his determination at sunrise each Feb. 2.

In 2017, Phil predicted the same “forecast.”

Since 1887, designated Phils have forecast more weeks of winter a total of 103 times and an early spring only 18 times. Luckily, he is often incorrect. Read more at USA TODAY.
