Today, the Sterling Forest Bais Medrash, Nusach Sefard, will be holding a Hachnosas Sefer Torah for a new Torah that is being dedicated to the shul by the residents of the Sterling Forest neighborhood. The Sterling Forest Bais Medrash is led by Harav Chaim Meir Roth, who is also a member of Bais Din Maysharim and is the rosh kollel of the Sunday Choshen Mishpat Kollel for baalei batim Bnei Torah in Bais Medrash Kol Aryeh. The writing of the osios will take place this afternoon at the home of R’ Zev Dov Berkowitz on Hadassah Lane, and at 4 p.m. the new Sefer Torah will be escorted, amidst singing and dancing, to the shul building down the street.
