hamas-rocketHamas terrorists fire nearly 100 into southern Israel today alone, including seven at Ashdod and nineteen at Ashkelon.

Of those, Arutz Sheva reports, twenty were intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system; four landed in open areas. Two rockets also hit one site in each city – slamming into a school in Ashdod and a home in Ashkelon.

This morning, reports Arutz Sheva, a rocket hit a residential building in Ashkelon. Anat Suissa, a child who was home when the “code red” alarm fired, ran into a protected area just in time; her home’s windows were shattered and the door was blasted off. Miraculously, she suffered no injuries. Hamas also fired a heavy barrage at the Gush Dan and Sharon areas; the Iron Dome intercepted four rockets over Tel Aviv.

1,350 rockets have been fired on Israeli civilians thus far. 1,027 have hit Israeli soil. 265 have been intercepted by the Iron Dome.
