kill-jewsA hate-monger blanketed a stretch of a Brooklyn neighborhood with “Kill Jews” notes today – weeks after a similar incident in two other communities. Residents along Third Ave. in Bay Ridge woke up to find hundreds of two-inch handwritten signs bearing the ugly message in black marker.

“I don’t expect to see messages to kill Jews as I walk to school in the morning,” said mom Liz Carlson, 40.

“What scares me is that someone would take the time to hand write all the little signs and then cut them out individually,” she added.

“Whoever did this is obviously sick. This is how violence begins.”

Earlier this month, “Kill Jews” notes were found in Boerum Hill and Clinton Hill, too. The NYPD Hate Crime unit is investigating.

Herb Karasik, president of the Bay Ridge Jewish Center, said identical hate notes were spread around the neighborhood a few weeks ago.

“This isn’t a one-time situation,” said Herb Karasik, president of the Bay Ridge Jewish Center. “This has been an ongoing problem.”

No one called 911 after the notes were found today, police said. By the time cops canvassed the 19-block stretch leading up to 94th St. later in the day, the notes were gone, a source said.

“It’s morally disgusting,” said Eddie Quimby, 28, an electrician. “It’s probably some little punk.

“We can make a big deal of it and let the idiots win,” he added. “Or we can rip them up and throw them in the trash and ignore this stupidity.”

Others in Bay Ridge were less certain the notes were harmless.

“It’s very upsetting,” said Michelle Chigrinsky, 38, a chef. “Bay Ridge is my home and I’m horrified to think that me and my daughter aren’t welcome here, that we aren’t safe. I hope that’s not the case.”
