Hatzolah of Los Angeles Begins Emergency Transport of Basic Life Support Patients in Fairfax/Hancock Park Area

los-angeles-hatzolahToday marked a historical moment for the Los Angeles Jewish community: Hatzolah of Los Angeles has started emergency transport of basic life support (BLS) patients to local hospital emergency rooms. Hatzolah is currently providing this emergency transport only in the Fairfax/Hancock Park area. After 30 days, Hatzolah will reevaluate and announce its next steps.

Until today, Hatzolah Of Los Angeles was responding to emergencies with private vehicles and had to call the local 911 to send an ambulance to transport a patient to the hospital.

Hatzolah will continue to work hand-in-hand with the Los Angeles Fire Department for Advanced Life Support (paramedic required) emergencies.

  1. This is an amazing event. Hatzolah being able to speed up the process of patient care. Kudos to all those involved in the lengthy and tiring process. May god repay all the holy Hatzolah men and women who serve their communities. They give up all their personal time and life. They can not go on vacation if there is no one around to cover the town. Let us congratulate Hatzolah for being # 1.
