Heh! The AP Thinks Jews In Mourning, “Sit And Shiver”

The Associated Press issued a correction Monday to a report from last week in which Broward County, Fla., Sheriff Scott Israel was quoted as saying he had visited the homes of high school shooting victims “where they sit and shiver.”

“In a story Feb. 22 about the Florida school shooting, The Associated Press misquoted Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel in some versions of the story when he spoke about the families of the victims,” the correction said. “He said, ‘I’ve been to their homes where they’re sitting shiva,’ not ‘where they sit and shiver.'” Read more.
