Heroic Boy, 11, Stabs Home Invader With A Kitchen Knife After He Kicked The Door Down And Beat His Mother

An 11-year-old Bronx boy is being hailed as a hero for stabbing a home invader who was viciously beating up his mother.

The boy, who has not been named, was at home with his mom and four-year-old brother in New York on Tuesday when the intruder knocked on the door and asked if he could use the bathroom about 5pm.

The mother wisely refused the stranger’s request, but after she did so, the crim – believed to be 22-year-old Brian Febus – kicked in the door and barged his way inside the Bronx apartment, the New York Daily News reports.

Terrified, the mother ran to the kitchen and grabbed a knife in an attempt to defend herself.

But Febus allegedly overpowered her and took the knife into his possession, cutting the mom on the hand as he did so.

Police say the 22-year-old then proceeded to ‘beat on’ the woman, cutting her arm and bloodying her lip in the unprovoked attack.

That’s when the 11-year-old hero stepped in.

After calling 911 and reporting there was a ‘robber in the house’, according to the Daily News, the lionhearted little man grabbed another knife and fended off the attacker.

Police say he managed to stab the 22-year-old, who quickly fled the scene with blood dripping from his wound. The man was later identified when he showed up at the hospital to receive treatment — the same medical facility the victims were being treated! Read more at The Daily Mail.
