  1. This is a terrible loss for our community. We finally had a Station filled with Harbatzas Torah & Kosher music. Reb Nissin is an emessdika Yiras Shomayim who is trying to help the Frum community. Its too bad that people who were jealous, went ahead and were maaser on them.

  2. Wow. I feel terrible about it. I gained so much from this radio station. I stopped listening to 1010, rush etc. because I had Jroot. I can only imagine that it helped so many others.

    Chaval.

  3. It is even sadder that those with no knowledge of the situation are quick to conclude that other Jews slandered the station.

  4. THIS IS A REAL SHAME GREAT STATION 24 HRS MUSIC NORMAL MUSIC NOT LADIES SINGING AND IDIODIC INTERVIEWS
GREAT LECTURES LIKE RABBI YOSEF MIZRACHI
I WOULD HAVE NEVER KNOWN ABOUT THIS RABBI IF NOT FOR THIS STATION

PLEASE POST WHAT THE AVERAGE PERSON CAN DO TO HELP THIS STATION

  5. every time I drive into Brooklyn it gets turned on. what a loss.

perhaps its time for us to make for it, by doing ACTUAL learning instead of listening to shiurim & music, perhaps this will be a zchus for it to be turned back on.

How much time over Pesach do YOU take upon yourself of EXTRA learning in the zchus that Jroot should be turned back on?

  6. How is Lakewood Radio (Kol Berama, WMDI, 107.9) been so successful? When stores in town and other orginizations give money to the station, as the station has slots throughout the day for sponsorships. The same thing needs to be done here in Brooklyn as well. It should be a CHIYUV for every store to give a sponsorship to JROOT radio and in turn JROOT should to slots of sponsorships like Lakewood does. I really hope people should get involved, askanim should also as well, and hopefully we will be hearing this station again very soon. They can be called WJRT for JROOT. What do you think of this idea? Let me hear from you.

  7. It seems like it’s back on the air for good. They may have gotten their license from the FCC, or worked out a deal with WALK-FM.

  8. What’s on 97.5 is not j root (I know this because if you call up712432-4217you don’t hear what’s on the air and classic nigunim with Elchanan Hamada was on on phone not 97.5)
