Israelis climbed aboard the country’s new high-speed train on Tuesday as it partially opened to whisk passengers from Yerushalayim to Ben Gurion airport, a massive project years in the making.

It is capable of travelling at 100 miles per hour.

  1. Haaretz reported this Sunday, Erev Yom Tov, that tens of thousands chareidim in Bnei Brak protested the past Shabbos against the Shabbos rail work. They say, there were over 60,000 people joined the protest!!! WOW! Surely such a huge protest stopped the chillul Shabbos rail work.

    • 60,000+ Chareidim protesting and not enough newsworthy to be on this site? Do Chareidi leftist have that much power that they can censor chareidi media?

    • Nu, nu. A Jew is allowed to benefit from another Jew’s chillul Shabbos, after that Shabbos.

Otherwise, you’ll have to go back to your cave, since all of Israel’s infrastructure was built with chullul Shabbos.

      • Benefiting is not the issue. The reason why tens of thousands of Jews, including many Gedolei Yisrael, took the time on Shabbos to protest so that in the holy land of Israel there should be no chillul Shabbos lechatchilah.
