Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-Brooklyn) has the highest praise for the New York City Police Department this morning following the arrests of three suspects in the murder of Menachem Stark.
“I have followed this terrible and tragic case from the beginning and applaud the NYPD for their tenacity in pursuing the murder suspects,” said Assemblyman Hikind. “I look forward to the suspects’ day in court and expect swift justice to be handed down. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with the Stark family.”
Councilman David G. Greenfield praised the NYPD for their hard work.
“The callous murder of Menachem Stark shocked not just the Jewish community, but all people of good conscience. Certainly, his family can have no peace until every person responsible for this depraved crime is brought to justice,” said Greenfield. “Today’s actions by the NYPD are a testament to their commitment to solving this case. I applaud the NYPD and Mayor Bill de Blasio for putting every resource into solving this heinous murder. We will now have to work hard to make sure that these murderers never see the light of day again.”
State Senator Simcha Felder also commented on the revelations.
“I hope that the alleged murderers are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and are condemned to a life behind bars,” said Felder. “I am confident that the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office will mount a formidable case and bring justice to the Stark family. As always, my thoughts and prayers remain with the Stark family during this excruciatingly painful time.”
