hillary-clintonIn her first public remarks on the crisis in Ukraine, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told attendees at a fundraiser for the Boys and Girls  Club that Russia’s actions have been similar to population transfers by the Nazis in the run-up to World War II, and that Vladimir Putin’s claims of protecting Russians were similar to Hitler’s claims of protecting Germans in Czechoslovakia and Romania.

Meanwhile, Putin launched a broadside against the U.S. on Tuesday, declaring at a press conference, “It’s necessary to recall the actions of the United States in Afghanistan, in Iraq, in Libya, where they acted either without any sanction from the U.N. Security Council or distorted the content of these resolutions… Our partners, especially the United States, always formulate their geopolitical and state interests, and then drag the rest of the world with them, guided by the well-known phrase ‘If you’re not with us, you’re against us.'” Read more at BuzzFeed.

  1. Apparently she asked for her own hope to be her own place of limited blessing when she had the indignity to assume that Mr. Putin was the same breed as Hitler. It is a crime to think that a man who killed 6 million is the formation for all comparisons of the world in its own statute of democratic criticism of others. Hillary is a bystander for her own crimes and indignities. I would not be thinking she has the reality of human touch to describe a better future when her worries are on the inside hand of her own stature in the higher release of only her unheard dream. She does not represent Tired And Suffering Masses as much as she seems to represent Bored and Miserable Mothers. Never Again.

  2. For once Hillary says something historically correct. There is a chilling parallel here.

The 1936 Olympics in Berlin were followed by the Anschluss – excused by Hitler ym”sh saying that Austria was really mostly German, etc., which is exactly what he said later on with regard to the Sudetenland.

Now, the 2014 Olympics in Sochi are followed by Putin trying to annex the Crimea, with the excuse that most of Crimea is really Russian, anyway…

Austria was a willing accomplice in its takeover; so is Crimea.

History always repeats itself; the only thing that changes is that every time it does, the price goes up.

  3. This is tough talk from a tough talker. As we well know by now, Hillary’s bark is much more than her bite. Benghazi, anyone?
