benny-gantzYesterday, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said, “Israel is a malignant cancerous tumor and is doomed to be destroyed.” He added that “Israel is not in a position that allows it to go to war with Iran.”

Other Iranian officials – including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad – have been saying the same types of things, mocking Israel and questioning its seriousness about attacking.

And now, IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz has responded with a simple message: Don’t mess.

“Whoever thinks he can destroy Israel and try to hurt our country will meet the deadly force of the IDF,” Gantz said bluntly.

The remarks by Gantz were made at a rally for the Golani Brigade of the Israeli army.

“Recently, we have heard direct threats against Israel’s safety and the security of its citizens,” said gantz. “These threats demonstrate a mistaken analysis of Israel’s forces and abilities.”

So is Israel ready to attack if necessary?

Gantz says, unequivocally, yes.

We are “primed and ready along the country’s borders,” he stated.

  1. Bluster and publicity are natural to politicians including military politicians, but we need a proper secret plan supported by proper national teshuvah.

  2. Ami & RAM, the big machers, arm-chair strategists from cozy Brooklyn pontificating about issues they have no clue. May the size of your brains & hearts match the size of your big mouths and poisonous pens. Many people in Israel are terrified by the rhetoric coming from Iran. It already affected alyiah and business adversely. Benny Gantz is trying to re-assure the population that the army has the means to fight the genocidal Iranian regime. That’s all.
