Marwan Qawasmeh Amer Abu AisheIsrael Defense Forces continued its search for the two Hamas terrorists Marwan Qawasmeh, 29, and Amer Abu Aisheh, 33, for the kidnapping and murder of three Israeli teens two weeks ago. The defense establishment believes the two are hiding in the West Bank.

Israeli soldiers arrested 42 Palestinians in the West Bank Tuesday night, 40 of them Hamas members. The IDF shut down six Hamas civil service centers on Wednesday. Since the beginning of Operation Brother’s Keeper two weeks ago, 463 Palestinians have been arrested in the West Bank.

The Palestinian Authority continued pressing the U.S. and Europe to prevent an Israeli retaliation to the deaths of the three teens. Nabil Abu Rudeineh, spokesman for Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, said the PA leadership has been convening regularly to discuss the matter since the beginning of the week.

Abu Rudeineh said that the Palestinian Authority is preparing to apply for membership for a series of international organizations if Israel continues to punish it with sanctions.

Meanwhile the U.N. Security Council issued a statement condemning the murder of the three teens. “The members of the Security Council expressed their profound outrage at and condemned in the strongest terms the killing of three teenagers, whose bodies were discovered near the city of Chevron on 30 June,” the statement said.

  1. If the UN keeps the Palestinians in their organizations then their words mean NOTHING – THROW them OUT of the UN until they give these MURDERERS over to Israel
