IDF Post on Holocaust Day Fails to Mention Jews

The IDF’s Facebook post commemorating International Holocaust Remembrance Day mentioned the 11 million Holocaust victims, while failing to mention the six million Jews who were killed, similar to the statement released by the Donald Trump White House, Kol Haolam reports.

Following furious social media criticism, the post was changed. The original post read: “11 million men, women, and children perished in the Holocaust. Share their stories and speak their names to keep their memory alive.” It was changed to “11 million men, women, and children including 6 million Jews, perished in the Holocaust.”
