Israel’s Defense Forces signed a demolition order to demolish the house of a Palestinian who is believed to have carried out two separate shooting attacks last year, killing a baby, two Israeli soldiers, and injuring eight people.
32-year-old Assem Barghouti was arrested by Israeli forces on January 8th following a massive manhunt throughout the West Bank.
Assem and his brother Salih were suspected of carrying out a shooting attack on December 9 near the settlement of Ofra which killed a newborn baby delivered prematurely after its mother was shot and seriously injured. Seven people were injured in the attack.
