As the Torah world follows the health status of Rav Chaim Kanievsky, news from Maayanei Hayeshuah Medican Center in Bnei Brak indicates improvement in his condition.
Rav Chaim, who was taken to the hospital on Motzoei Shabbos, may be released on Monday if his condition continues to improve.
Rav Chaim had been suffering from pneumonia.
Rav Chaim was able to follow his daily routine today in terms of his learning and davening. He is seen in the photo above learning Gemara in the hospital today.
He still remains quite weak, however, and is under the close round-the-clock watch of the hospital’s doctors.
Sunday evening, Rav Chaim was visited by Degel Hatorah MK and Finance Committee chairman MK Moshe Gafni.
All are asked to daven for Rav Shmaryahu Yosef Chaim ben Pesha Miriam.
