There has been some improvement in the health of Rav Refoel Shmuel Yaakov Borenstein, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Kiryas Melech, who remains hospitalized in serious condition at Maayanei Hayeshua hospital in Bnei Brak.
The name Refoel was added after his condition deteriorated on Friday. Now, however, his heart seems to be stronger and the infection he has suffered is declining.
Rav Borenstein underwent treatment today to remove his artificial ventilation. The treatment was successful and the rosh yeshiva is recovering.
The situation is still complicated and Rav Borenstein still needs a great amoung of rachamei Shomayim.
It is hoped that in the coming days he will wake up completely and be completely weaned from the respirator.
