At Israel’s Emek Medical Center in Afula, doctors are culturing semi-liquid bone from patients’ fat cells and injecting it into patients to repair bone loss.

In one case, they replaced bone in a patient’s arm following a car accident. Last year, the procedure was used to repair bones in eleven patients’ jaws.

Produced individually from each patient’s fat cells, the BonoFill culture eliminates the risk of surgery failure from tissue rejection.

BonoFill contains bone cells as well as cells which form the lining of blood vessels. This results in the growth of new bone and formation of new blood vessels to supply them with nutrients and oxygen.
