Investigators: Arafat Not Poisoned

After Swiss investigators “moderately supported” the idea that polonium 210 caused Yasser Arafat’s death, French investigators now say the late Palestinian leader died of natural causes.

The report, which was commissioned in secret by Arafat’s widow, Suha Arafat, came to the same conclusions of French investigations in 2004 which determined that Arafat died of a brain hemorrhage and intestinal infection.

After Arafat’s body had been exhumed, samples were given to Swiss, French, and Russian investigators to determine his death. Read more at Al Jazeera.
