Iran’s Leader: U.S. Ruled Out Attack

ayatollah-ali-khameneiAyatollah Ali Khamenei said in a speech on the first day of Shavuos that he believes President Obama will not use force to stop Iran’s nuclear program. Iran’s supreme leader said the U.S. took the “military option” off the table because it “realized military attacks are as dangerous for the assaulting country as they are for the country attacked.”

It is looking less likely that Iran will negotiate a long-term deal with world powers to curb its nuclear program by the July 20 deadline. The negotiations were already extended last November to avoid the risk of war. Read more at Al-Monitor.
