Maj. Gen. Mohammad Hossein Bagheri, Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces, on Thursday lampooned Donald Trump’s remarks about Iran during his presidential campaign as a mere joke, Mehr News in Iran reports.
“The empty saber-rattling of the president-elect of the U.S. is ludicrous…since we are the major dominant force in the Persian Gulf. Today, our power is manifest in other fronts, including in Iraq and Syria, and they should recalibrate their evaluation of Iran’s military might.”
He added that Syria, with Iran’s help, produced missiles in Aleppo which Hizbullah used to target Israeli cities during the Lebanon War of 2006.

Oh please, general. Your entire Army is a joke. All you do is bloviate, but be careful what you ask for. If you ever have the misfortune of engaging US military might, you are in for a serious shock, as your forces will be obliterated in a heartbeat.
Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei calls Trump and tells him, “Donald, stay out of political office, because last night I had a wonderful dream. I could see America, the whole beautiful country, and on each house I saw a banner.”
“What did it say on the banners?” Trump asks.
Ali replies, “United States of Iran.”
Trump says, “You know, Ali, I am really happy you called, because believe it or not, last night I had a similar dream. I could see all of Tehran, and it was more beautiful than ever, and on each house flew an enormous banner.”
“What did it say on the banners?” Ali asks.
Trump replies, “I don’t know. I can’t read Hebrew!
