bart-simpsonDon’t have a jihad, man! Iran has banned “Simpsons” dolls from the Islamic Republic, saying Bart, Homer, Marge and Lisa would corrupt the country’s youth.

The Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults made the decision to block the promotion of Western culture, the independent newspaper Sharq reported yesterday.

But the institute’s Mohammad Hossein Farjoo Farjoo said that dolls of Spiderman and Superman were authorized for sale. “They help oppressed people and they have a positive stance,” he said.

  1. Iran has banned “Simpsons” dolls from the Islamic Republic, saying Bart, Homer, Marge and Lisa would corrupt the country’s youth.

The Iranian ban is absolutely correct and I, for one, would like to see it taken up by the Israeli rabbinical authorities.

Firstly, Marge and Lisa do not dress in a tzniusdika manner. I am astonished that Lisa is not expelled on a daily basis when she attends Springfield High School.

Secondly, why has Superintendent Skinner not introduced ?????? ???? yet?

Thirdly, Marge wears neither a sheitel nor a tichel. It is unclear whether or not she dyes her hair, which is also against any interpretation of ????.

Lastly, it is high time that Bart started to lay ??????.

I realise that ????? is still a month away but hey!, we could do with a laugh once in a while.

  2. Actually, they should have used Bart as the mascot for their nuclear program, since one of the famous lines attributed to him is:

“I didn’t do it. Nobody saw me do it. You can’t prove anything!”

  3. A lot of right-wingers in this country would like to ban the Simpsons too. They’re subversive and funny, a dangerous combination for people who don’t like “freedom” getting too free.
