A top Iranian official called Wednesday for United States troops withdraw from Syria and defended Iran’s own military presence in the country after U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson called on Iran to withdraw its troops.
Ali Akbar Velayati, a top aide to Iran’s supreme leader, criticized the U.S. presence in Syria and called for American forces to be withdrawn.
“Those should leave Syria who are there without the permission of the Syrian legal government,” Velayati said.

Iran should call an emergency UN Security council session and propose sanctions on the US. That will them Americans a lesson.
