With just one day to go until the November 24 deadline for reaching a deal with world powers over its nuclear program, Iran’s negotiating team said it will be “impossible” to reach a deal by the November 24 cutoff. “Considering the short time left until the deadline and number of issues that needed to be discussed and resolved, it is impossible to reach a final and comprehensive deal by Nov. 24,” said an official part of the negotiating team in a state news agency story.

According to reports, the two sides are deadlocked over the number of centrifuges allowed, enrichment capacity, and when and how the sanctions would be lifted. An extension of the talks is an option the sides have discussed, and will reportedly be brought up if no deal is reached by Sunday night. Read more.
