Iran Says ‘Definitely Not’ On Trump Meeting

A spokesman for Iran’s foreign ministry on Tuesday said that representatives for the country would not be open to a meeting between President Trump .

Bahram Qassemi said at a news conference that there would “definitely not” be a possibility for a meeting between the two leaders, adding that the Trump administration’s withdrawal from the nuclear pact with his government likely prohibited further negotiations, according to The New York Times.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, called the U.S. “totally unreliable” and cited Trump’s withdrawal from the Iran nuclear agreement in a statement.
