Irma’s Winds Snap Construction Cranes In Miami

A crane at Vice Tower in downtown Miami snapped Sunday as Hurricane Irma made landfall in Florida.

A second crane in the city collapsed in a large development later on Sunday, according to The Associated Press.

The City of Miami tweeted that people in a building facing that crane should try to take shelter on “the opposite side” of the building or in a stairwell.
