A new video purports to show the Islamic State executing five men that militants say were spies for the U.K. in Syria. The video, which was circulating online on Sunday, shows the five men “confessing” to photographing and filming sites in Raqqa, the capital of the Islamic State’s proclaimed caliphate.
The video then shows the five wearing orange jumpsuits and kneeling in the desert when they are shot in the head by a masked man.
The video has not been verified, though it bears similarities with other Islamic State footage. Read more.
