Israel’s cabinet approved Sunday Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s NIS 700 million (roughly $187 million) aid plan for Gaza border communities.
The financial plan will fund a variety of programs for the years 2019-2020 and is designed to “strengthen civilian resilience in Sderot and other Gaza-adjacent communities” a government statement said.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the decision for the proposal followed a meeting with Gaza-border communities’ council heads, also attended by Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon and Interior Minister Aryeh Deri on November 15.Read more at i24NEWS.
