Israel Defense Forces arrested four men for their involvement in the Hamas-affiliated Al-Quds television station in overnight and early morning raids in the West Bank Monday, rounding up a total of twenty Palestinians for arrest.
Other arrestees included a group of Hebron University students, the father of a detainee reportedly on hunger strike to protest his detention without trial, and five Palestinians in Qalqilya for their “involvement in promoting and motivating Hamas terror activity in recent months”, the IDF stated.
The arrest reportedly comes after Israeli Defense Minister Lieberman signed an order earlier this month declaring the Lebanon-based satellite television channel a terrorist organisation.
