After nearly three years of diplomatic deadlock, Israel and Palestine have agreed to resume peace negotiations starting Monday evening, the U.S. State Dept. said.

Secretary of State John Kerry called Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas today to propose two days of meetings and both sides accepted.

The Knesset approved the release of 104 Palestinian prisoners Sunday, despite resistance. “This moment is not easy for me. It is not easy for the ministers. But there are moments in which tough decisions must be made for the good of the country, and this is one of those moments,” Netanyahu said.

  1. Take two asprin go to bed wake up in 30 days. And nuttin new same old same old. Only diffrence. 104 terrrorists were freed

  2. Peace that will never be achieved. Releasing terrorists will add more bloodshed to the nation. I wonder what the Palestinians are doing for Israel as a goodwill gesture to restart peace talks.

  3. Joe 12, my sentiments exactly. What a complete travesty.

We need a complete change in leadership – not as radical as R’ Kahane, but certainly more stringent that Bibi has turned out to be.

    Sad for us all.
