Israel Foreign Ministry deputy director-general for political affairs Alon Ushpiz 2Israel Foreign Ministry deputy director-general for political affairs Alon Ushpiz voiced strong opposition on Monday to the EU plan to label goods produced beyond the “green line,” diplomatic officials said.

He charged that labeling products from the settlements discriminated unfairly against Israel, since the EU does not have a similar policy toward other disputed areas such as northern Cyprus or western Sahara.

Israel also argued that this would lead to discriminatory steps against Israeli products and eventual boycott.

  1. So, Mr. Manufacturer, set up a fulfilment warehouse in Israel “proper” to complete assembly such as adding a sticker and final packaging if needed.
Then the products can be labeled Made in Israel as they are in your other Israeli facility. Labeling laws are not all the same outside US.
